Music by Travis Knapp this Thursday! And other updates…

Fam, it’s time to rock out.

Things are definitely ramping up at your favorite Danby hangout! Our delicious baked goods have developed quite the loyal following already (strawberry palm pastries this week…😋). The draft beverages have been such a hit! And prepared sandwiches are so close–stay tuned for more on that–though for now y’all have been loving our meat or vegan grab-n-go wraps.

We’ve also been thrilled to cater a few events, and we’re seeing more and more folks meeting up for a drink or snack at our cozy spot. Can’t tell y’all how grateful we are by the community’s embracing this spot. It means the world to us to see everyone coming in, chatting, hanging out, meeting new friends and helping to cultivate a community here.

This is the dream!

So it’s time to throw a party! This Thursday 8/15, 6-8pm, local musical favorite Travis Knapp will bring in some sweet vibes to lift us up and celebrate this land, this place, these friends. From Travis’ website:

Travis sings around the country at festivals, farms, markets, gardens, schools, houses, cafes, tea lounges, pubs, churches, circuses, sidewalks, TV and radio stations, yoga schools, hiking trails, weddings, funerals, showers, wineries, book talks, ecovillages, and art centers – spreading his positive music and ideas wherever they find fertile ground – in hopes of inspiring folks to live honestly and joyfully! A few other details about Thursday night:

  • We have a big yard with tables and chairs. But you’re invited to bring your own lawn chairs, blankets or whatever else you need to be comfortable if seats are full.
  • Our parking lot is small! Be sure not to block anyone in and don’t park in the marked residence spots. You’re also welcome to park on the shoulder on 96B in front of the market, or behind our property in Dotson Park. This map outlines the parking options.
  • We’ll have wraps (a meat and a vegan as usual) available, along with all our grocery options of course. As a reminder, no outside food or drink please.

Also: We now have eGift cards! An eGift card can serve as a house account for yourself (you can pay right from your phone, or just link your name or phone #) or a gift for a loved one. Reach out with any questions, or ask when you’re here in person. Thanks for supporting your local small business!

(Finally, since some folks have been asking… we got delayed in being able to accept EBT through some software glitches. Things are in motion and we really hope to be able to start accepting EBT payments very soon.)

Much love y’all!
